Hello, This post has been a long time coming. I think I took the photos a month ago, but then there was the dreaded lengthy illness that pretty much prevented me from doing anything that whole time. Tina from Tiny Bear featured my box today, so I thought it was perfectly appropriate to feature hers!
Forgive the weird angle, but I wanted to try to show the double-layer drawers she put in her box. She featured this goofy young man on the cover surrounded by vintage lace.
Then, here are the two drawers open...
Here's the top drawer. Tina included a lot of vintage sewing items, because I had mentioned that I like them. Isn't the long spindly wooden lace bobbin in the middle neat? I think that's my favorite thing.
And here's the second drawer. Vintage lace, and a vintage sewn pearl piece - there is even a place where the maker has stopped and left her pin in the fabric to turn rusty. That would be great for framing!
A fun box, yes! I NEED for you to visit Tina's blog athttp://tinybear-dk.blogspot.com/, not just because she featured my box, but to see her BEARS! They are absolutely wonderful! They're not too cutesy, and they look like they're very old. And they're tiny! Scroll down the page to see them all.
That's it for today. Soon, I'll feature the other petite swap box I received!
