I made a new item for my Etsy shop.

I went to a different antique mall today. This one is quite small, and the majority of the stuff is not really that old. But I did manage to pick up a few things.
A tin box, a new summer purse with a koi fish on it, a porcelain hand, a bobbin with some nice green striped thread on it, and a cool old pendant with an opaley type stone in the middle. Oh, and the doily, which is different than the doily I had in the earlier picture. I have two now that look almost identical. So that's it. Tomorrow I have a new item to put in my Etsy store that I will show you.

My favorite antique mall closed at the beginning of this year. It was a huge place - one of the largest in the country. It recently reopened in a new location, about 1/3 of its original size. I went there yesterday, and this is what I came home with...
Not much, huh? I don't even think the tall Schimmelpenninck cigar tin is old. But it was only $1.50, so what the heck. I really like the little green wooden painted box, and it goes perfectly with the daisy pin. The gray rosette things are shoe clips. I actually wear shoe clips on my ballerina flats, so at $1 I consider them quite a find.
I'm going to try a different antique mall on Tuesday. I hope to have better results there.

I am having a Clearance Sale in my eBay store now through the end of May. Select items are 35% off! Most gift items are on sale, as well as many beads and buttons.
The above styles of buttons are all included in the sale. I had a problem trying to mark down the ones that were $1.50 or less, because eBay won't allow an item's price to be less than $1.00. So, what I did was revise the listings for those particular buttons so you get 2 for 1. Unfortunately you can't see the revisions unless you actually click on the items. So, go to my eBay store, and if you see a button you like, click on it! It just may be on sale! And while you're there, take a look at all the other sale items too. You might find something you like!

One of my button collections that I put on Etsy yesterday is featured in a treasury called "Fabulous Collections".

This is my first time posting a treasury, so hopefully I did it right. You are supposed to be able to click on the individual items. You gotta love those bunny rabbit boxes!
Okay, so the treasury shows up a little too big and runs into the right column of the page. If anyone knows a better way to do this let me know!

I just put some vintage button collections in my Etsy shop.
Above is the "mirrored glass" collection, packaged in a vintage typewriter ribbon tin.
And this is the "pearlized glass" collection, packaged in a vintage Rosebud Salve tin.
I have a few sets of each style, but I'm going to put them up one at a time at first, to see how they go.
Also, I just received a new shipment of vintage wooden bobbins today , and I will be spending tonight wrapping them with an assortment of ribbons and trims to be put in the shop very soon!
